BEFORE you talk about other men who abuse women, TAKE A GOOD CLOSE LOOK AT YOURSELF IN THE MIRROR! Do you treat your women like the way they should be treated? Do you physically or emotionally abuse them? If so, then get your act sorted.

Here, I talk about WHY we men should respect our women, even though this should be a given, I felt there was a need here to quickly list several logical reasons why men should respect women.

Where would you be, if women did not exist? YOU WOULD NOT EXIST! Your mother carried you for around nine months. Suffering through the vomiting, mood swings, nausea, among other things to carry you and help nurture you. In fact, the first woman a man falls in love with is their mother. Therefore, your mother holds a special place in your life, the same way other mothers hold a special place in the lives of other men. So, treat all women the same way you want other men to treat your mother.

How would you want the partner of your sister to treat her, if she made a mistake? Before you lay a finger on your partner, imagine how you would feel, if your sister was physically abused. You would be extremely sad and helpless watching your sister break down in tears with her face and body covered in bruises. Right? Then think before you act and hurt your partner, because she is also the sister of another man. No human being is perfect, including you.

Imagine your beautiful daughter who you took care of all of your life one day married. Of course you will be happy for her, but at the same time, you are going to feel sad, because she is not longer ‘daddy’s daughter’. Moreover, you would be constantly worrying about how her marriage is going; if her husband is treating her, the way you treated her. Right? So please be careful on how you treat the daughter of another man, because she is also ‘daddy’s daughter’ of another man.

As men, we do not need to be explained the above, because like I said earlier, respecting women should be a given. However, I hope these several logical reasons can help you improve your treatment of the women in your life, if you are not already treating them with respect.
